Shri. P. Palani is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy(CEG), Anna University, Chennai.

He joined KIOCL on 29/03/1990 as Graduate Engineer Trainee and has more than 3 decades of experience in the field of Maintenance, Spares planning, Modification, Research & Development and Condition Monitoring in Pellet plant. Involved in the upgradation of Pellet plant capacity from 3 to 3.5 million ton during the year 1996. He is instrumental in Indigenization of most of the items and installation of Fan less Cooling Tower in Pellet plant.
